Certified Cardiographic Technician (A hospital and classroom based Certification Program
Certified Cardiographic Technician is a comprehensive training program. Course contents include Medical Terminology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology, EKG/ECG Techniques and Recognition, Stress Test techniques and Holter Monitoring. Having completed this program the students will have sufficient knowledge and skills to work in the Cardiac Technology field in a Medical Center or a Hospital. Routine tasks may include registration of patients, setting up appointments, operating the systems and perform EKG/ECG, Holter Monitoring or Stress Testing procedures. The course provides sufficient theory and practical knowledge so as to enable the students to challenge a National Certification Examination. To successfully graduate from this program a student is required to receive a minimum of 70% (grade C) in every subject included in this program. The College will award Certificate of Completion to all the graduates of this program.
Hospital Internship: 200 Hrs
